The Yelping: Essays and Stories (2018)

Master’s Thesis. A collection of essays and short stories that focuses thematically on the evolution of a relationship from courtship to marriage. The essays explore loneliness and ego and identity and mortality while the short stories do the same, except under the guise of fiction. Many of the pieces start with a minor misunderstanding or a failure of communication, and the humor and crises that result.

Finding Aids for the Jean Byers Sampson Center for Diversity in Maine (2016-2018)

As Graduate Research Assistant, I wrote finding aids for new materials in the University of Southern Maine Library’s Special Collection.

Marketing Emails

From June 2019 to March 2020, I wrote marketing emails for Proof Beer, Wine, and Liquor in Somerville, MA. These once-a-week missives updated the customer base on new products and upcoming tastings in a store that aims to be a community space in the Winter Hill neighborhood. Read them here!
